I have spent close to two decades building businesses and technology across AI, data, machine learning and automation, working with organisations ranging from large enterprises and government agencies to technology startups.
Today, my focus is on practical, deployable AI: moving beyond demonstrations and experiments to build AI systems that can operate reliably in real organisations. This includes generative AI, AI agents, enterprise knowledge, intelligent automation and the architecture, governance and integration required to take AI projects into production.
I am the co-founder and CEO of Zeaware, where we build Avalon, an enterprise AI and agent platform. Through Zeaware, I work directly on real-world AI projects, helping organisations identify valuable use cases, solve the difficult integration and data problems, and turn promising AI concepts into production solutions.
Over my career I have published numerous books and articles, been a frequent conference speaker, and worked through several major shifts in enterprise technology, from big data and cloud through to machine learning and today's rapid evolution of generative and agentic AI.
I am also an advisor to LiquidityCube, an emerging fintech company applying technology to fixed-income markets.
